Who am I? That’s a damn good question and I strongly recommend you read posts to find out the answer: odds are fair you’ll learn things while I do. It has been a crazy year so far and is likely going to continue being so. The basic details are that I’m a 29 year old who happens to be a Mum to a fantastically cool 8 year old. At the moment, we are in the process of moving to South Bend, Indiana, to live with my best friend (Rin) and her husband. There are a whole lot of stories there which I’m sure I’ll talk about at some point. It’s a good thing, so that’s the important part, right?

I also happen to be a Spoonie. If you don’t know what a Spoonie is, stop right now, go read The Spoon Theory and take a moment to poke around the But You Don’t Look Sick web site, then come back again and you’ll understand a little bit more. My health issues are numerous and frequently show up in my writing. My “official” diagnoses include Chronic Fatigue Syndrome, Fibromyalgia, Reynaud’s Syndrome, and a few other odds and ends. The ongoing quest to figure out -exactly- what is wrong is somewhat on pause at the moment. There are stories there, too.

Oh, right, I said I was in the process of moving. I’m a Southern Girl, born and raised. I am from Georgia, so there is a fair bit of culture shock to moving up north; however, it should make for some very amusing stories. Also, you’ll get to hear about trips back and forth between South Bend and the Atlanta area…probably to the point of being sick of it.

Right now, I have to go to bed before I get yelled at. There’s a drive to be done at some point tomorrow, and I need to sleep. I’ll come back and read this later…maybe. šŸ˜€

Shit, I forgot to answer my own question…why hope in free fall? Because I believe in the Emily Dickinson quote “Hope is a thing with feathers” and I spend a fair bit of time living on faith, trust, and a little bit of pixie dust and a whole lot of hope. Why free fall? Well, I suspect if you read a bit more about me, you’ll understand why it works. šŸ˜€
